Smt. Mithibai Motiram Kundnani College of Commerce & Economics was established by the Hyderabad Sind National Collegiate Board in the year 1961. The college is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai and registers students upto the Bachelor in Commerce. Degree Examination of the University. The H.S.N.C Board has tied up this year with various educational institutes in the United States of America. The students after completion of B.Com from this college are eligible for direct admission into the final year of the Bachelors in Science in management at New Jersey Institute of Technology, U.S. Principal: Mr. G. B. Daryani Vice Principal: Dr. Butani Extra and Co-Curricular Activities : The college also encourages various extra and co-curricular activities. Every year various competitions are held to imbibe a sportive spirit in the minds of the students. The college has societies for various activities like: The Literary & Debating Society: MUDRA: The college has many other societies like the Fine Arts Club ; the college is also instrumental in starting the Economics Teachers Association(E.C.A). The college hosts a friendly atmosphere important for the thorough and overall developments of the students. THE ANNUAL FESTIVAL- AAKARSHAN: The college hosts a brilliant intra college event for the students to enjoy. The festival lasts three days and it is usually in the month of December. Aakarshan is the event where all the degree college students, come together to participate in various competitions like Fine arts, Acting, Singing & Dancing, then there is the very interesting Fashion show. To add to the list, it also has a personality contest where every year dozens of students participate to achieve the title of Mr. MMK or Miss MMK. The Festival has it's own mascot called The Spook!! The festival time is the best time of the year. |
